Quality Assurance Specialist

Westlakes Recruit is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to join their team in Cumbria on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply Six Sigma and quality engineering tools to test, control, and report on incoming and outgoing products.
- Support the enhancement and implementation of ISO 9001-related quality/business systems, including internal auditing, document control, corrective action, customer complaint processing, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure the integrity of quality system processes to maintain facility certifications.
- Improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
- Represent quality on cross-functional teams.
- Ensure quality training is performed, completed, and documented.
- Maintain required project/job quality records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project codes, specifications, drawings, and API/ISO/ASME standards.
- Assist in contractor capability reviews.
- Verify that all devices requiring calibration are within tolerance and calibrations occur in accordance with industry best practice and client requirements.
