Job Title: Plant Maintenance Specialist

At Speedy Hire, we are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Whitehaven. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of plant hire equipment in the region. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading provider of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant, and support services.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to the highest standard, ideally gained within the hire industry or similar. You will also need an NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in a relevant discipline, as well as a technical/engineering background. Flexibility is essential, with the ability to work varied hours and support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive 26 days' holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, pension scheme, canteen facilities, 95% discount across the Speedy brand, opportunities for training and development, and more.
