Job Description:

We are seeking a Plant Engineer to provide overall responsibility for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of plant hire equipment in the region.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in testing and repairing plant equipment. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with other engineers, drivers, and the hire desk team.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test plant hire equipment to ensure it is safe and meets Speedy's safety standards.
  • Maintain and repair plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Liaise with drivers and the hire desk team to prioritize repairs and maintenance effectively.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We offer a range of benefits, including 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, pension scheme, canteen facilities, and 95% discount across the Speedy brand.
