Job Title: Financial Project Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Financial Project Accountant to join our Finance Division and support the safe delivery of a corporate project.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong financial accountancy background and experience in delivering projects in large complex organisations. They will be responsible for identifying and considering financial impacts of the core project objectives, working towards implementation of the project within our internal framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong technical knowledge of Accounting standards in the UK and their application.
  • Communication with the Corporate Project team and outsource providers to ensure key deliveries for Finance are captured appropriately.
  • Responsibility for addressing key objectives and meeting the desired timeframes.
  • Ability to manage and own significant projects with tight deadlines and ensure delivery.
  • Risk management and controls procedures adoption.
What We Offer:
  • Non-Contributory Pension - 10% (increasing with length of service up to 15%) with further pension matching.
  • Parental leave - 6 months full pay.
  • 28 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays (based on full-time equivalent) with the option to buy up to an additional 5 days holiday.
