St. James's Place is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Financial Professional, you will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of the SJPUK and Investment Administration monthly management accounts and associated financial, regulatory and statutory reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Delivery and ownership of the relevant management accounts
* Provision of financial information to the Entity Boards
* Providing senior management with relevant insights on the financial performance of the business on a monthly basis

You will also be responsible for managing the relationship with 3rd party administrators, including understanding and challenging their processes, controls and outputs, working with them on ad-hoc projects and resolving issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for statutory reporting, owning and delivering the relevant entity statutory reporting & accounts while managing external audit queries. Regulatory reporting will also be a key aspect of your role, with oversight and delivery of the Group and UK Solvency II reporting.

As a subject matter expert for relevant entity accounting, you will prepare technical papers, present on key topics and be involved in project work as and when required. You will be a self-motivated and experienced Financial Accountant with in-depth knowledge of financial accounting and the ability to understand and interpret financial information. Previous experience working within financial services and experience working with life insurance accounting would be highly desirable.
