About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Rhodes Wood Hospital, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 8-18 years.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our hospital environment, ensuring that all areas are spotless and meet the highest standards.

You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that all areas of the service are clean and well-maintained, and will be responsible for delivering high-standard cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures.
  • Be an active member of the team, with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
  • Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greet visitors in a professional manner.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors, and service users.
  • Help create a positive culture.
  • Undertake any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
  • Attend mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
  • Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done.
  • Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
