About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Rhodes Wood Hospital. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the hospital, including wards, offices, bedrooms, and visitor areas.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas are spotless and meet our high standards.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain a positive working relationship with all staff members.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
