About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Rhodes Wood Hospital, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 8-18 years.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitors' areas.
You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas of the service are spotless and deliver high-standard cleaning services.
We offer comprehensive training to help you excel in your role and provide a supportive environment where you can make a positive difference in the lives of our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures.
- Be an active member of the team, contributing to the day-to-day operation and maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors, and service users.
- Help create a positive culture and undertake any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
- Attend mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.
Requirements
- Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
- Enjoy cleaning and take pride in a job well done.
- Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively.
- Be a good communicator and have good attention to detail.
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
