We are seeking a skilled and experienced Premises Officer to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of County Council services by maintaining and securing our premises.
Key Responsibilities- Locking and unlocking of County Hall site
- Undertaking minor repairs and Health and Safety checks
- Setting up rooms and general upkeep of the building
- Liaising with contractors and other stakeholders
- Deputising for the Premises and Logistic team leader for absence and annual leave
- Experience within a supervisory role
- Relevant experience of undertaking DIY and maintenance work
- Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and equipment in accordance with H&S Guidelines
- Excellent communication skills to report issues with the team
- Willingness to attend site anytime day or night to deal with emergencies
- Ability to manage own and the teams workload, prioritising tasks
