We are looking for a talented General Surgeon to take on the challenge of this exciting opportunity at Wales Medicines Strategy Group. The successful candidate can expect an annual salary of around £123,000.

In this key role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients presenting to the Department. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team of surgeons to maintain the unit's efficiency and capacity, support the recovery of waiting times following COVID, and contribute to the delivery of colorectal surgery in both emergency and elective settings.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with expertise in general laparoscopic surgery and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. To succeed in this position, you will need to hold an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, have undertaken a programme of training acceptable to the Royal College of Surgeons for appointment to Consultant Status, demonstrate evidence of training in general laparoscopic surgery, and be registered on the Specialist Register via CCT, CESR or European Community Rights.
