We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Children's Support Worker. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people between the ages of 8-18 years old with learning/physical disabilities, complex health needs, autism, and challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:- Support young people in their daily lives, encouraging independence and well-being.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure the quality of services meets expected care standards.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, parents, and professionals involved in the young people's lives.
- Organize and participate in activities and holidays, ensuring risk assessments are followed.
- Experience as a Children's Support Worker or Team Leader in a similar social care setting.
- Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People or equivalent.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence, due to the nature of the role, you may be required to transport the young people.
- Children's Homes Regulations and Safeguarding Knowledge.
