About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Property Services Inspector to join our team of professionals responsible for maintaining the high standards of communal areas and properties managed by Hightown Housing Association.

As a Property Services Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet the expected standards
  • Updating the property database to ensure accurate information for future works
  • Carrying out property and health and safety inspections, including pre and post inspections
  • Liaising with residents to ensure the expected property standards are maintained
  • Completing Fire Risk Assessments of communal buildings and assets

We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a compassionate, enthusiastic, and respectful approach to their work.

You must be able to work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to our residents and be flexible in your approach to work. You will have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to supporting others.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge or qualifications in a relevant sector, such as building construction, surveying, or building regulation
  • Experience of working within public sector housing
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders on a regular basis
  • A good general knowledge of IT, particularly Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
