About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Inspector to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a Property Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting stock condition surveys and property inspections, generating reports to update the Group's asset management information and asset investment program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough stock condition surveys and property inspections to identify any defects or issues.
  • Generate detailed reports to update the Group's asset management information and asset investment program.
  • Collaborate with key managers to develop asset investment plans and ensure quality and value-for-money standards are met.
  • Review Fire Risk Audit (FRA) reports and ensure actions and remedial works are completed.
  • Assist in producing reports for internal and external audits using asset management data.
  • Maintain the Job Logic system with updates from surveys.
  • Conduct HHSRS inspections and provide recommendations and status reports.
  • Stay informed on regulatory requirements and legislative changes.
  • Collate and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual performance indicators for each compliance work stream.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Property Inspector type role, producing inspection and survey reports for residential properties (3 years minimum).
  • A good understanding of legislation and regulation affecting property management, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021, HHSRS, and Decent Homes Standard.
  • Thorough understanding of the areas for which the role is responsible: Property Construction & core components and Building Safety Management.
  • A good understanding of fire safety requirements and implications when inspecting buildings.
