About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Property Inspector to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting stock condition surveys and property inspections, generating reports to update the Group's asset management information and asset investment program.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough surveys and inspections of residential properties to identify any defects or issues.
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of properties, including recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with key managers to develop asset investment plans and ensure quality and value-for-money standards are met.
- Review Fire Risk Audit (FRA) reports and ensure actions and remedial works are completed.
- Assist in producing reports for internal and external audits using asset management data.
- Maintain the Job Logic system with updates from surveys.
- Conduct HHSRS inspections and provide recommendations and status reports.
- Stay informed on regulatory requirements and legislative changes.
- Collate and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual performance indicators for each compliance work stream.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Property Inspector type role, producing inspection and survey reports for residential properties (3 years minimum).
- A good understanding of legislation and regulation affecting property management, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021, HHSRS, and Decent Homes Standard.
- Thorough understanding of the areas for which the role is responsible: Property Construction & core components and Building Safety Management.
- A good understanding of fire safety requirements and implications when inspecting buildings.

- Circa £42,000 to £45,000 salary.
