Child and Youth Care Specialist

Kibble, Scotland's specialist provider of services for at risk children and young people, is seeking a dedicated Child and Youth Care Worker to join our team. As a key member of our residential and community-based services, you will play a vital role in supporting the safety and well-being of our young people throughout the night.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing direct support to children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each child's or young person's needs and goals.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans, working closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Recording and reporting on the progress of children and young people, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification in social care, such as an HNC in Social Care or SVQ Level 3 in Care.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and young people, preferably in a residential childcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
- A full driving license and willingness to drive school transport.
