About the Role

Kibble, a leading provider of services for at-risk children and young people, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Care Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the care and development of our young residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote the social, emotional, and educational growth of our young people.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each child's needs and goals.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and external partners to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our young residents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in child and youth care.
Requirements
  • HNC in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
