Job Purpose:The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a therapeutic trauma-informed model of care to children aged 5-12 years. This will involve working closely with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized care plans for children and young people, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to thrive, promoting their physical, emotional, and educational well-being.
- Work closely with families and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to care and support.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children and young people's progress, in accordance with Kibble's policies and procedures.
- HNC in Social Care, SVQ Level 3 in Care, or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Two years' experience of working in the social care sector, preferably in residential childcare.
- Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Pension scheme.
