Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Retail and Franchise Marketing Manager to join our team at NBCUniversal. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing retail channel strategies that leverage the strength of our franchise portfolio and drive business growth.

About the Role:

This is a key position within our marketing team, requiring a strong understanding of retail marketing tactics, promotional partners, packaged goods, and consumer products. You will work closely with our regional category leads, licensees, and retailers to develop and execute partner territory-specific franchise marketing activations that support our UP&E strategy.

You will also be responsible for managing the execution and account management of assigned marketing partnerships with DTR/FBC/Collab Partners, including in-store marketing, promotions, sweepstakes, out-of-home, print, online/mobile content, packaging, premiums, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute retail channel strategies that drive business growth
  • Manage the execution and account management of assigned marketing partnerships with DTR/FBC/Collab Partners
  • Work closely with regional category leads, licensees, and retailers to develop and execute partner territory-specific franchise marketing activations
  • Develop cross-divisional symphony programs with other NBCUniversal business units
  • Manage the EMEA Franchise and Trade marketing budget
  • Approve all Retail marketing submissions from DTR's, FBC & COLLAB Partners

Requirements:

  • Strong brand marketing experience
  • Extensive experience with retail/trade marketing, promotions, or packaged goods experience with significant experience creating large-scale programs
  • Deep knowledge of retail business, including retail marketing tactics, promotional partners/packaged goods, and consumer products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Able to thrive in a matrix organization

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Remote or based in London, UK
