Join Our Team as a Holiday Club Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our before, after school, and holiday club programs. As a Holiday Club Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the club, including staff supervision, child care, and program development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the before and after school provision as well as holiday clubs
  • Oversee team members, play workers, supervisors, and ensure the high standards of care and activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe experience for children
  • Develop and implement programs that promote child development, education, and recreation
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children and staff, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Manage attendance records, finances, and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
  • Conduct risk assessments and report any hazards or accidents to ensure a safe environment

Requirements:

  • NVQ L3 in childcare or play work, or QTS
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Recent experience working with children aged 4-11
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead staff effectively
  • Strong knowledge of equal opportunities and child protection policies
  • First Aid qualification (desirable but not essential)
