Job Title: Holiday Club Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Holiday Club Manager to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. As a Holiday Club Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of our before and after school provision, as well as our school holiday camps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of the before and after school provision, ensuring high standards of care and safety for children aged 4-11.
  • Oversee a team of staff, including play workers and supervisors, to ensure the smooth operation of the club.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure a seamless experience for children.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records of children's attendance and activities.
  • Manage the club's finances, including ordering equipment and supplies, and overseeing the budget.
  • Conduct risk assessments and report any hazards or accidents to the school leadership team.
Requirements:
  • NVQ L3 in childcare or play work, or QTS.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Recent experience working with children aged 4-11.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead a team of staff.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.
  • First Aid qualification (desirable but not essential).
