We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Holiday Club Manager at a wonderful school in Stockport.
As a key member of the school community, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the before and after school provision, as well as holiday clubs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing team members, play workers, and supervisors to ensure high standards of care and activities
- Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and the school leadership team
- Training new starters and identifying training needs for staff
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and staff, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
- Managing attendance registers, ordering equipment, and overseeing finances and budget
- Conducting risk assessments and reporting hazards and accidents
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to make a strong impact in the provision beyond the school day.
Requirements include:
- NVQ L3 in childcare/play work or QTS
- Outstanding communication skills
- Recent experience working with children aged 4-11
- Excellent team member with confidence in overseeing children and staff
- Strong knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities
- First Aid Qualification (desirable but not essential)
We offer a competitive salary of up to £29,000 and a rewarding role that suits passionate educators.
