About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business Development to join our Executive Management Team at Social Care in Action (SCiA Group). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the commercial success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to enhance our business portfolio and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property developers, social landlords, and commissioners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including fundraising and commercialisation of services.
  • Lead the development of tendering strategies and manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including PPC, SEO, and social media.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain the organisation's data protection obligations.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in a senior business development role, ideally within the health and social care sector.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing projects and leading initiatives that drive business growth.
  • Experience of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fundraising, and driving commercialisation of services.
  • Experience in partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience of tendering development and contract management.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, and social media strategies.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations in line with the Data Protection Act 2018.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of between £50,000 and £55,000 dependent upon experience, with bonus payments of 2.5% of new business.
  • 27 days' annual leave entitlement, rising with service up to 32 days, excluding bank holidays.
