About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at Everton Stadium. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional pastry experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pastry menus and product requirements, ensuring high-quality and consistency.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including cleaning rotas, standard operating procedures, and staffing rotas.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing training and development opportunities to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and third-party suppliers to ensure product quality, stock control, and stock holding.
  • Drive guest-focused culture, consistently demonstrating an in-depth knowledge and appreciation of hospitality standards and client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health and safety policies, and due diligence systems.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide exceptional service to retail outlets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and talent management/succession planning activity, based on agreed and measurable KPIs.
Requirements
  • Naturally confident leader with senior management experience.
  • Extensive experience in pastry operations environment.
  • Positive and passionate focus on food – a natural flare for hospitality.
  • Trained to Level 3 food safety (desired).
  • Previous P&L accountability and evidence of commercial nous.
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
