About the Role

Aramark UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at the new Everton Stadium. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional pastry experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pastry menus and product requirements, ensuring high-quality and consistency.
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing and ordering ingredients, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Lead a team of pastry chefs, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to optimize profitability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a senior pastry chef in a high-volume food service environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of pastry operations, including menu development, food safety, and inventory management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
