About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising and Events Specialist to join our team at St Giles Hospice. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a range of fundraising events and campaigns to support the hospice's mission.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful fundraising events and campaigns, as well as experience of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, supporters, and stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary of ££29,688.36 to ££36,305.99 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • To plan, coordinate, and execute a range of fundraising events and campaigns to meet the hospice's income targets.
  • To work closely with colleagues to deliver successful fundraising initiatives, including events management, marketing, and promotion.
  • To identify and engage with potential donors and supporters, building strong relationships and securing financial commitments.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring that all fundraising activity is properly recorded and evaluated.
