Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Auckland. As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for performing effective, safe, and efficient repairs and maintenance of a wide range of plant items.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, heavy trailers, construction and quarry machinery, road paving and milling machines, traffic management vehicles, and other equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Relevant trade certificate from a reputable training organization.
- 3 years' experience as an Auto Electrician.
- Class 1 & 2 license essential, Class 4 license beneficial.
- Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers endorsement advantageous.
- Passion for safety in the workplace.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
