Job Overview

Fulton Hogan is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our Auckland-based workshops. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing effective, safe, and efficient repairs and maintenance of a wide range of plant items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, heavy trailers, construction and quarry machinery, road paving and milling machines, traffic management vehicles, and other equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on complex systems.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.

Requirements

  • Relevant trade certificate from a reputable training organization.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Auto Electrician.
  • Class 1 & 2 license essential, Class 4 license beneficial.
  • Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers endorsement advantageous.
  • Strong passion for safety in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
