The Role: Night Shift Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanic to join our team on a night shift basis. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of heavy vehicles, construction equipment, and light vehicles.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on a range of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of assets.
  • Respond to breakdowns and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and work practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic.
  • Class 4 license or higher preferred.
  • Mechanical qualification and proven diagnostic abilities.
  • Experience working with heavy machinery, construction equipment, and forklifts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
