About the Role
As an Automation Maintenance Specialist, you will be a key player in executing both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks within our advanced automated CFC in Luton. Your responsibilities will include working at elevated heights and utilizing various access equipment to troubleshoot equipment failures and address issues promptly, performing repairs whenever feasible. You will manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate data records to achieve Engineering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will assist the Engineering team in evaluating engineering malfunctions and devising strategies to enhance the performance of Mechanical Handling Equipment.
Your work schedule will involve shifts to support our continuous 24/7 operations, comprising 12-hour shifts across days, nights, and weekends.
About You
If you are seeking to advance your career in Engineering, this position is an excellent opportunity for you.
It is preferable that you possess an Engineering qualification along with practical experience. Ideally, you should have a solid technical grasp of automation systems, including hardware and software, as well as familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems.
Being organized and detail-oriented, you are a natural problem solver with strong analytical capabilities. You communicate effectively and are adept at sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues. You are comfortable working safely at heights and are willing to adhere to a 24-hour shift schedule.
