Automation Maintenance Specialist

As an Automation Maintenance Specialist at Ocado Group, you will play a vital part in delivering pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs). Working at height and using a variety of access equipment, you will diagnose equipment breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner, completing repairs where possible. You will handle the Computerised Maintenance Management System, maintaining accurate data records to meet Engineering KPIs. You will support the Engineering team in analysing engineering failures and finding solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our automated CFCs
- Diagnose equipment breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Handle the Computerised Maintenance Management System and maintain accurate data records
- Support the Engineering team in analysing engineering failures and finding solutions
About You
We are looking for an organised and meticulous individual with great analytical skills. You should have a good technical understanding of automation hardware and software, along with good working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems. You will be comfortable working safely at height and happy to work to a 24 hour shift pattern. If you are looking for your next step in your Engineering career, this role is for you.
