Job Overview

As a Customer Relations Officer at Bristol City Council, you will be part of a centralized team supporting service-based officers who handle complaints and councillor/MP cases. Your primary focus will be on Housing and Landlord Services casework, specifically Complaints, with occasional work on non-Housing related cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage Housing and Landlord Services cases within agreed timescales, assigning casework to the right teams and officers using the i:Casework system.
  • Send customized acknowledgment emails and respond to complaints as needed.
  • Coordinate responses for complex, multi-service complaints.
  • Provide advice and guidance to service-based staff on procedures, system queries, and complex cases.
