About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Female Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including manual handling and lifting.
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care and progress.

Requirements

  • A full clean driving license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with complex care needs, preferably with a spinal cord injury.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of up to £115 per day, depending on experience.
  • A rolling 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off shift pattern, with regular consistent work and accrued holiday pay.
