About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a live-in support worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our client, who has a spinal cord injury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the client with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support the client to maintain their independence and engage in activities they enjoy.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's family and our clinical team to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in manual handling procedures and maintain accurate records of the client's care.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of up to £115 per day.
  • A rolling 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off shift pattern.

Requirements

  • A full clean driving license.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with spinal injuries (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in providing person-centered care.

What to Expect

As a live-in support worker, you will be living in the client's home 24/7 when on shift. You will have the opportunity to develop a close relationship with the client and their family, while also receiving support and guidance from our qualified clinical and business leadership teams.
