Senior Practice Accountant Opportunity

Edwards Employment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Practice Accountant to join their team in Chesterfield. This is an excellent chance for an experienced accountant to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships with professionalism and clarity, providing expert advice and support.
  • Produce Ltd company final accounts, VAT returns, Corporation tax returns, and Personal tax returns.
  • Oversee and guide apprentices, providing mentorship and support for their professional development.
  • Ensure efficient use of accounting systems, and contribute to improving processes within the practice.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, timely services to clients.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience working in a practice environment.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills.
  • The ability to take ownership of a variety of accounting tasks, from final accounts production to tax returns.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • A proactive and positive approach to improving practice efficiency and client services.
  • Ambition to grow within the firm, with the potential to step into a future Practice Manager role.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.
