Audit Director

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a seasoned auditor, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our audit function and shaping the future vision of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic oversight of our audit provision, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
- Team Management: Oversee a team of experienced audit staff, including managing workflow, reviewing work with constructive feedback, and plugging knowledge gaps with training opportunities.
- Business Development: Support our business growth by securing new business, recruiting, and training new staff, and being involved with all strategic decision making.
- Target Setting and Forecasting: Lead target setting, as well as forecasting and reporting on department budgeting.
- Client Representation: Professionally represent our firm during networking opportunities, confidently scoping new business opportunities.
- Value-Added Services: Identify services that will add value to our portfolio of clients.
- Culture Champion: Champion our firm's values within the team, motivating those around you.
- Client Communication: Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills.
- Leadership Example: Set an example for the team as a natural leader.
