The One Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional to join a global business that promotes development and offers exposure on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with an outsourced invoice scanning company to ensure accurate input of supplier invoices and credit notes into the ledger.
- Process daily invoices, credit notes, system match suggestions, and assign PO exempt documents to the business.
- Reconcile supplier statements and request copy invoices where necessary.
- Target aged items to drive down unapproved invoice statistics.
- Process overseas payments and one-off payment requests.
- Review employee expense claims in SAP Concur to ensure accurate coding with relevant approvals, receipts, and backup information.
- Experience and knowledge in Accounts Payable function - essential.
- Experience of leading or supervising a team - desired.
- Ability to analyze data and synthesize key messages - essential.
- Capable of challenging constructively - essential.
You will receive a competitive salary between £32,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week.
