Accounts Payable Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at News UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the payment of all invoices for News UK and Wireless, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team, including team management and performance objectives.
- Work closely with the Tax, Compliance, and Corporate Reporting teams to ensure compliance with HMRC, NewsCorp, Audit, and Sox regulations.
- Manage high-risk accounts and Direct Debits, and reconcile suspense accounts.
- Review journals and manual payment requests, and manage IR35 Supplier accounts.
- Collaborate with the business to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
Requirements:
- Proven management skills and experience in Accounts Payable.
- Excellent working knowledge of SAP and experience with VIM and OCR systems.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Able to evidence excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
