Job Title: Sourcing Manager

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team at CV-Library in Oxfordshire.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing sourcing projects, ensuring on-time and cost-effective completion. They will also contribute to cross-functional projects by providing sourcing expertise to support Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QARA), New Product Development (NPD), Production, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Sourcing Manager in executing strategic supply chain and sourcing initiatives.
  • Negotiate and advance supplier agreements.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide informed sourcing insights.
  • Assess supplier performance, compliance, and suitability.
  • Develop and maintain key sourcing metrics.
  • Analyse and implement market and sourcing strategies.
  • Source new suppliers to enhance cost efficiency and service levels.
  • Develop and execute plans to exit underperforming suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance against KPIs.
  • Establish long-term agreements or contracts.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects.
  • Lead and manage sourcing projects.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing Officer.
  • Support Operations, Production Engineering, Materials, Quality, Service, and NPD teams.

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position based in Oxfordshire.
