Montrose, Angus, United Kingdom Turning Point Scotland Full time

Are you passionate about helping vulnerable individuals enjoy fulfillment and feel included in their community? We're looking for a Community Care and Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point Scotland in Angus.

This rewarding role involves providing individualized support to adults with complex needs, promoting independence, choice, and fulfillment. You'll work closely with individuals, involving family, friends, and other professionals, using a person-centered approach.

No prior experience is needed, as we offer comprehensive training. We believe that having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity is all you need to succeed. You'll receive full support in completing your application and have the flexibility to fit your work around existing commitments.

As a Relief Support Practitioner, you'll be part of our List of Approved Relief Workers, which may be contacted by services when additional support is needed. This includes covering periods of leave, sickness absence, and peak activity. When suitable work is available, managers will contact you to offer shifts or series of shifts.

You'll be well-placed to balance your work with other commitments, with no pressure or obligation to accept work if it doesn't suit you. However, there is an expectation that you will make every effort to attend and undertake the shift. Your reliability is crucial to our services and the people we support.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. You'll accrue entitlement to paid holidays and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while working.

Please note that relief working at Turning Point Scotland is not normally suitable for those with full-time posts with other agencies. If you'd like to discuss any aspect of this role, please call our Recruitment & Engagement Team on 0808 1643100.
