Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled FP&A Analyst to drive forward single-source truth, data-driven decision making, and support the business on its journey towards strategic goals. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring Learning Pool has the right financial planning in place, building strong relationships with internal and external partners, and driving operational excellence throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models that support agile forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Support preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and 3-5 year financial plans.
- Analyse variances between actual, budgeted, and forecasted financial results to identify trends and suggest corrective actions.
- Gather, clean, and analyse large sets of data to create meaningful and actionable insights.
- Maintain and manage financial databases and systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Support the implementation of new systems or processes to enhance data quality and analysis.
- Generate and distribute monthly/quarterly financial reports and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards.
- Provide insights on financial and operational performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and scenarios as needed by management.
As a trusted advisor to department heads, you will provide financial insights to support decision-making and streamline financial reporting and forecasting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
About YouYou will have the ability to build and manage complex financial models, build financial reports, and provide insights to drive business decisions. A deep understanding of business drivers and the ability to serve as a subject matter expert will be essential in this role.
This is a hybrid model position, working from home with regular attendance at one of our Learning Pool Offices. Commuting distance to the Derry office is highly desirable. The salary for this position is approximately £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
