Job Title: Nurse Practitioner for Children and Families

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic community setting, providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex healthcare needs.

The successful candidate will have significant post-registration experience as a Children's Nurse and a proven ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize their workload. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively within a multi-professional team.

About the Role:

  • To assess the child's nursing needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care in the community setting.
  • To provide ongoing assessments for a defined caseload of children and young people with complex healthcare needs.
  • To coordinate the workload as part of a skilled team, providing a quality-based nursing service for children, young people, and their families.

Requirements:

  • RN (child) or RSCN qualification.
  • ENB997/8 or SLIP teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Significant post-registration experience as a Children's Nurse.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex health care needs & conditions.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
