Nurse Practitioner Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Maximus. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition impacts their daily life.
About the JobIn this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders. Your compassion and experience will make a significant difference in the lives of our customers. To support you in your role, we offer a comprehensive training program, including six weeks of training before assessing customers.
Key responsibilities include conducting telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to gather information about a person's disability or health condition. You will then use this information to produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports, helping the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
