About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Child Care Specialist to join our team at Stoke on Trent City Council. As part of this role, you will be working closely with children and young people to deliver the best possible outcomes and ensure their safety and well-being. **Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children and young people with their daily needs, education, and personal development. You will also be required to contribute to the overall well-being and safety of the young people in your care, working collaboratively with other members of the team to achieve the best possible outcomes. A key aspect of this role is being flexible and dedicated, with a rotating schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

**Benefits**
We offer a competitive salary range of £31,364-£33,945 per annum, plus additional benefits such as a 12.5% shift allowance and sleep-in payments. We also provide up to 40 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays), an option to buy extra annual leave, high-quality reflective supervision, health and wellbeing support, and access to staff equality and diversity networks.
