About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled electrical estimator to join our team at Professional Construction Recruitment. As an electrical estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating and estimating the costs associated with electrical construction projects.

Key responsibilities include analysing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine the materials, labour, and equipment required for successful project completion. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work.
  • Analyse and interpret electrical design documents, including schematics and blueprints.
  • Calculate material costs, labour costs, and overhead expenses to determine the overall project cost.
  • Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids for electrical construction projects.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to obtain accurate pricing for materials and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information for estimating.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing.

Estimated Salary: $98,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, this is significantly above average in the industry and comes with opportunities for advancement.
