Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience as a time-served electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical installations, including containment, switchgear, lighting, emergency lighting, and small power installations.

You will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine the materials, labour, and equipment required for successful project completion.
  • Calculate material costs, labour costs, and overhead expenses to determine the overall project cost.
  • Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids for electrical construction projects.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to obtain accurate pricing for materials and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information for estimating.

Salary Range: $113,000 - $143,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
