Account Handler Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Support Account Handler to join our team at Ardonagh Advisory in Telford. As an Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional administrative services to our clients, ensuring their insurance arrangements are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality customer service to clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct pre-renewal fact finds with clients to identify their insurance needs and preferences.
  • Calculate and deliver renewal premiums, negotiating and securing business for a further 12 months.
  • Agree payment methods and arrange finance for renewal premiums, as required.
  • Cross-sell policies to clients, identifying opportunities to enhance their insurance coverage.
  • Meet tight deadlines and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to renewal retention, rate changes, and cross-sell penetration.

Requirements

  • A confident telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to handle complex customer queries.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with multiple priorities.
  • Good IT literacy and proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, and Acturis System (preferred).

Minimum Educational Requirements

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A-C, including Maths and English, and/or relevant experience.
