We are seeking a skilled Account Executive to join our team at Capio Recruitment Insurance. As a leading insurance broker, we specialize in industries such as Haulage, Logistics, Fleet, Self Drive Hire, and Motortrade.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing clients within these industries, either by building a book of clients and retaining them, or by focusing on development and passing clients onto our existing business team. We are open to a combination of both and are flexible depending on the candidate's experience.

This is a field-based position, primarily based in the Midlands but can also be home-based with occasional travel to our office. Leads will be provided by our outbound team, but to be successful, you will need to develop your own leads through methods such as cold calling, site visits, networking events, or seminars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client business operations, opportunities, risks, and approach to risk management and insurance within the haulage, fleet, and logistics industry

• Obtain and communicate sufficient information to clients about their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing business and growth

• Collaborate with our outbound team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the insurance industry

• Strong understanding of the haulage, fleet, and logistics industry and its risks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong business development and relationship-building skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
