Care Leadership Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our Homecare team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading by example, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered to service users with diverse needs.
The successful candidate will have a passion for care and excellent communication skills (written and verbal). They will also possess leadership qualities and a desire to grow and develop into a management role. Additionally, they should be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, which we will provide training opportunities for.
Key Responsibilities- Hands-on Care: Provide direct support to service users, ensuring their daily needs are met, and their well-being is prioritised.
- Leadership: Assist in training new support workers and act as a mentor to provide ongoing guidance and support to the care team.
- Care Planning: Create and maintain individual care plans for service users, working alongside staff and service users to ensure the plans are up to date and relevant.
- On-call Responsibilities: Participate in a shared on-call rota, providing support to staff and helping manage any unplanned absences.
- A competitive salary of £26,005.85 per annum, based on 40 hours per week at £12.50 per hour, plus additional pay for on-call duties.
