About the JobThis is a permanent opportunity to work with our team at CV-Library, where you will be responsible for installing and testing chassis and body electrical control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install and test electrical control systems according to customer specifications.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policy and procedures.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all work carried out.
- Install and modify vehicle wiring harnesses and components as per contract build documentation.
- Terminate various automotive and high-voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
- Test and commission the vehicle electrical system as per Quality Assurance documentation.
- Fault find and repair the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software.
- Work overtime when requested by management.
- Undertake training or retraining associated with the post or introduction of new working practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to General Data Protection guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of electrical control systems, good problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and adhering to company policies is essential.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
