Job Description:

XQ Technical is a leading provider of technical services, and we are currently seeking a Wiring Harness Engineering Technician to join our team in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have experience in wiring harness assembly and maintenance, with expertise in the Raychem System 25.

This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Collaborating with engineers and designers to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  2. Providing input and feedback to optimize harness design and functionality.
  3. Implementing rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy, integrity, and functionality of wiring harnesses.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in wiring harness assembly, preferably in motorsport, automotive, or Formula 1 environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Raychem System 25 components, tools, and techniques for wiring harness assembly and repair.
  • Proficient in soldering, crimping, looming, and connector assembly.
